Idgy Dean’s final Harvard Divinity thesis project––a mystical rock opera of songs and visions composed during pandemic times. It is both an archive and an art show. A text and a testament. A performance and a prayer.

s a figment of your imagination. He’s worked with micca, Narcissister, Thea Little, Rebecca Pappas, ChristinaNoel and the Creature, Milka Djordevich, and Andrea Haenggi. Their written work appears in Isele Magazine and The Brooklyn Rail, among other places. They received a BA in English Literature and a BFA in Dance Performance from the University of Iowa.
a Queer, Queens-based performer and choreographer. Kristi has been awarded: Queens Art Fund New Work Grant, Jonah Bokaer Arts Foundation Artist-in-Residence, and Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grant. Her stage and film work, under the name Kristi Cole & Guests, has been presented in New York City, Atlanta, Georgia and Toronto, Canada.
Emily Jo Haenny
Emily Jo is a contemporary dance artist, producer, model and cosmic portal. Her focus is on physicalizing the metaphysical and sharing authentic emotions and sensations through through process and performance. Emily Jo has presented choreography in NYC, Denver, CO, and Amsterdam, NL. Her performances with micca span 3 years.
a mother, mover, maker and hairstylist who has been participating in Micca’s magic for over 8 years. Using and transforming public spaces, while inviting audiences to experience dance in sensual and visceral ways, are what motivates them most as a performer.
a Brooklyn based performer, choreographer and dance activist. She is physically invested in improvisation, partner work, and athleticism. Her queer identity inspires research into gender in process, performance, and community outreach, which she carries into all of her creative and performative endeavors. She is currently working with ChrisMastersDance, m i c c a, Johnnie Cruise Mercer (TheREDprojectNYC), and she is part of Dance/NYC’s Junior Committee. Abigail strives to work in environments that center collaborative values and actively work to uplift queer communities.
We are thrilled to announce that the next stage of this work is made possible through a space grant from Flushing Town Hall (FTH).
March 15 - April 15th FTH will be our home at we develop this work and prepare for our House of Yes and Transpeco performances
