About the event
Sun Dae Day Daze is kicking off Summer Saturdays on Six Foot Platform residency in Dumbo! From 1pm - 8pm we will be celebrating summer and dancing while you decorate us in ice cream, cones, and sprinkles. The first Saturday after the Solstice and one day before pride! Join us in this space of permission, play, choice, and agency. Throw away your gender assumptions and experience the human body as a form, communicator, and it's own work of art.
By RSVPing for one of our scheduled times you know you are showing up for some serious play and a stellar playlist. If you saw us last year in Rockaway, this is the Sun Dae Day Daze you remember! Examples of some of the ice cream actions of the hour are turning the dancers into ice cream sculptures, freeze & move, a pose and walk off, follow the leader, and a food fight!
